When established correctly, a funding facility can secure the disbursement of large amounts of money to multiple project developers − be they civil society organisations, enterprises, training institutions or the like − in a lean, ethical and cost-efficient manner.

In 2017, NIRAS set up a Fund Management Unit as a service function for all NIRAS-managed facilities and projects. We have built a network of experienced funding facility managers and an innovative platform to refine our grant management procedures and tools. NIRAS currently manages an array of funding facilities and within programme grant schemes.
