NIRAS-WWB Technical Proposal for Preferred Provider for MEF/GGSF TAF

We Listen. We Learn. We Deliver.

At NIRAS, “We Listen. We Learn. We Deliver.” is more than a slogan. It is our way of being a learning organization that values diversity and inclusion.

We continuously encourage our employees to listen to the needs and expectations of clients, partners, and stakeholders, and to engage in dialogue and communication to understand the context and challenges of each project. We make sure that even marginalized voices are heard and respected. These values are also reflected within our organization, the plurality of lived experiences and technical capacities, are our most treasured assets.

Being a NIRAS employee means being part of a team that is committed to sustainable progress and service delivery, and that celebrates the diversity of its members.

All new NIRAS employees are invited to participate in NIRAS' Workplace Diversity Course presenting key terms such as unconscious bias, the business case of diversity and inclusion, as well as the importance of speaking up against harassment and discrimination.

We foster learning on gender equality and offer webinars on several relevant developments and themes within the NIRAS Gender & Human Rights Technical Community. We have recently hosted webinars on women and cash transfers in South Africa, engagement of men in the prevention of gender-based violence in Kenya, and the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ perspectives in projects.

In NIRAS we have

in-house staff engaged with

We have several talented trainers who provide internal capacity building sessions for staff working across our many sectors.
